Silver streek kennels are breeders of quality silver labs. This is a important fact to not look over when looking at silver labs. We got into this because we love our labs. Most breeders of silver labs will tell you they have great dogs in reality it is the farthest thing from the truth.Most breeers of silver labs have dogs that do in fact resemble wiemers and at the end of the day may infact have been bread with a wiemer somewhere to get the silver color and papers were fraudgentely made to the A.K.C. to get papers on these dogs. You should refer to the A.K.C. standards when selecting a labrador and trust your gut when you think the dog looks funny. Being a breeder is a gift not a right and you should always have the breed in mind when trying to reproduce animals. These beautiful versions of Labradors are simply a joy to have around. We have taken breeding these animals very serious and have always tried to get the best Labradors in order to continue our good name. We stand by the fact that we are in the top five in the world as far as quality of Silver Labs go. We strive to produce a lab that is line with the standards set forth by the A.K.C. and at the same time produce a lab with ALL it's great qualities not just a couple. As you will see in our litters, and pups kept from them that we continuely produce great dogs. Our silver labs are english in type and built for love. A true lab should be stocky and balanced so not to have any part of their body be any bigger or smaller that the rest of it's parts. A labs tail should never curl upwards and should always have a barrel shaped body. A labs head should not be shaped like a pointer for the simple fact they are not pointers. If quality is what you want then quality is what you will get at Silver Streek. Most of our puppies are sold to other breeders and that is over many conversations and after they show pictures and pedigree's for their dogs. We do sell labs as family pets too so please check out our family. Here at Silver Streek we do not breed to make a buck usually our litters cover our cost in having the dogs and any extra usually goes to new toys for the dogs.
